This website is currently focused mostly on family and friends- those things I find most important in my life right now. The storefront for Wolfheart's Hope Chest may return someday, but for now my focus is elsewhere. I still make soaps and lotions, I still work with leather and beads, and I can take requests for any of the items I've crafted in the past. what's new in our lives:
- Preparations for my sister's wedding now include major house re-organizing, thanks to having to provide crash space to several relatives from Idaho.
- The child's favorite word has finally become "no"- I knew it would happen, but had hoped that maybe we could skip that part. On the good side, he's quickly figuring out that he can't say no *all* the time! Plus, time-outs are becoming more effective.
- I'm starting physical therapy again, this time with the ultimate goal of getting ready for a work conditioning program. Which means, I'll be working out regularly without having to pay for a gym. The goal here is to get me back to patrol before the end of the year. I should be back to light duty by the end of August.
- The zoo has lost a few members- the gecko just up & died for no apparent reason and one of the water dragons took sick & stopped eating. Even with force-feeding a special diet goop, he didn't survive. The rest of the tank seems fine though, the turtles are happy with their new diet.
- The puppy is growing exponentially, with her ears still trying to decide which way they are flopping. When she perks up & looks curious, both ears stand up and she looks like she's got radar dishes on her head. Pics are provided on the family photos page.
- Working on a wedding dress & tunic for a friends wedding coming up on the 27th of August. They are coming along quite nicely at this point.
